    Description
    Introduction to theory, operation, and maintenance of automotive systems. Includes fundamentals of math, measuring devices, fasteners, shop safety, careers, and certifications, tools/equipment common to the automotive industry, environmental issues, classifications/applications of lubricants and resume writing. Environmental issues will be discussed. This course is designed to comply with the Automotive Education Foundation objectives, enabling students to prepare for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification.
