    This course is a practical study of archaeological artifact analysis. Emphasis is placed on artifact typology and seriation methods used in the preparation of archaeological reports. Students learn the most current techniques for describing, classifying, cataloging, and documenting archaeological materials. This course is designed for students majoring in anthropology with an emphasis on archaeology and for anyone interested in a career in the field of archaeology or employment in Cultural Resource Management (CRM).
