    Description
    A course to advance beginning arc welding skills with an emphasis on SMAW more complex joint designs, techniques and procedures. Weldability of metals, Air Arc cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting and introduction to GTAW and GMAW are covered in this course. Course activities include learning to complete all joint designs and positions with most commonly used electrodes to prepare for advanced certification tests. Students are required to furnish their own PPE "Personal Protection Equipment" also essential tools.
