    Description
    This is an advanced course designed to enable students to become qualified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers per section IX in the field of industrial pipe welding. This course includes shop safety, oxy-fuel, plasma cutting, air carbon arc cutting, and pipe welding using the shielded metal arc process. Pipe coupons will be prepared and welded in the (6G) fixed position. Students are required to furnish their own PPE " Personal Protective Equipment" also essential tools.
