    Specialized individual instruction for music students on their major focus. A weekly private lesson. Study of techniques and problems of performance. Study of scales, appropriate technical exercises, and solo literature at the intermediate level. Performance in a recital each semester is required. This course is required for all instrumental music majors and minors and may be taken for credit a total of four times. C-ID MUS 160.
