Within the operational role, course topics include risks and outcomes of hazardous materials, operational roles, safety procedures, stabilization of the scene, decontamination of victims and equipment, and communication and coordination with agencies. This course is certified by the California State Training Institute and students successfully completing the class will be issued a CSTI certificate.
