    Description
    This course provides a basic overview of fire chemistry and fire behavior, and provides students with information, methods, and techniques for operating basic fire fighting tools. Utilizing structural, open land, and oil fires, students will be given hands on experience in basic fire control. The 18-hour course meets the requirements for F-STEP certification in Fire Control 3.
