Special emphasis is placed on an understanding of communication in relationships and everyday life in conjunction with knowledge of how to communicate ideas, thoughts, and feelings. This course includes principles of verbal and nonverbal transactions that occur in relationships and the study of theory and research findings and their application to communication in interpersonal relationships in personal and professional contexts.
