Students will critically read and write in a variety of rhetorical situations and contexts and incorporate college-level research. Minimum 6,000 words formal writing. (AA, CSU, UC) Objectives Develop varied and flexible strategies for generating, drafting, and revising essays. Integrate the ideas of others through paraphrasing, summarizing, and quoting without plagiarism. Develop varied and flexible strategies to locate information that is credible and relevant for academic research. Outcomes Compose and revise source-based essays using a variety of rhetorical strategies appropriate for an academic audience.
