    ART 1011 - Photography Minimum Grade: C Condition: Health/Safety: Additional: Produce technically competent black and white photographs which synthesize mechanical and creative elements. Explain how to create a digital photograph, upload/print and present it as a stand alone work of art. Demonstrate an understanding of the basics of digital photography. Create photographs that are compositionally whole. Express competence in, and understanding of, the medium through active and informed participation in group and individual critiques,

    Description
    Students will study advanced camera and darkroom techniques including digital photography trends. Lectures stress aesthetic developments in the history of photography. (Small, medium, and large format cameras are available on a loan basis.) May be taken for credit a total of three times.
