Construct pottery pieces using a variety of styles, methods, and glazes. Explain the interrelationships between the pottery of the various cultures studied. Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIntermediate ceramics is the second semester in this discipline. It focuses more on development of intermediate concepts and techniques for use in this medium. Wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques and assignments make up this compliment to the introductory semester. More extensive study on wheel and hand techniques that build on the foundational ideas presented in Art 1006.
