If a fingerprint clearance is on file at COS, and is no more than one year old, this requirement may be waived. Outcomes Compare and contrast police responses, balanced with the needs of the community, discuss cultural diversity and discrimination and their effect on response by law enforcement. Analyze the required elements of various property crimes, law enforcement actions in response to those crimes, and criminal penalties that apply. Identify current case law, policies, and practices for 4th amendment search and seizure rules Demonstrate the correct sequence of evidence gathering, presentation of evidence statement collection, and investigative report writing to successfully submit a case for prosecution. Assess and analyze use of force situations and apply the appropriate use of force to gain arrest compliance. Demonstrate Competency via the POST assessment for firearms to include normanclature, breakdown, cleaning, miss-fire situations, and firearm accuracy.
