    The Basic Police Academy is designed to prepare students to meet entry-level requirements for jobs in the law enforcement profession. The curriculum has sufficient breadth to allow students to pursue a career in a variety of agencies. This course offers comprehensive training in a variety of topics which meet the standards outlined by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
