Transfers ToCSUDescriptionAs part of the ADHS Certificate of Achievement (COA), this course provides students the opportunity to develop knowledge, understanding, and competency in the field of human services, and emphasizes the concepts gained through course prerequisites and supports the student working under supervised field experience in a community agency. Students must have completed at least 13 semester units of the COA coursework (see the ADHS college website for a description of the certificate), and must contact the Office of Career and Technical Education to confirm their eligibility. Students must begin their practicum in an approved agency at the start of this practicum course, have one year from the end of this course to complete their practicum hours, and all practicum hours must be signed off by the student’s instructor and agency supervisor within this time frame.
