- This course will review the dynamics of relapse prevention as it relates to substance use and behavioral addictions. It will delineate the role of aftercare in the treatment process, the role and importance of client follow up, stages of relapse, discuss addiction theories and behavioral components of change including family roles. This course will review the stages of recovery and address the current practices of treatment.
