    Description
    An introduction to music notation and the fundamentals of music theory. Students will study pitch, melody, rhythm, harmony and form in a variety of historical styles and genres, including contemporary music. This course is designed for the non-major, the elementary or secondary school teaching credential candidate, and the music major who seeks remedial instruction prior to beginning the Theory and Musicianship sequence.
