The course also explores how participation impacts psychological well-being across diverse populations, including considerations of gender, age, culture, and group dynamics. Topics include historical and contemporary theories, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and critical issues such as stress, anxiety, exercise adherence, unhealthy behaviors, and social change in sport.
