Description: This course provides an introduction to textiles, focusing on the fundamental properties of fibers, yarns, and fabric identification. Students will explore various textile manufacturing processes, fabric finishes, and their applications for different end uses. Emphasis will be placed on sustainability, environmental concerns, and ethical considerations in the textile industry.
