    Description
Advanced Construction Practices (formerly Construction Practices 3) is an advanced hands-on construction course primarily focused on foundations, wall framing, and roofs. Students participate in constructing foundations, framing walls, and learning to cut rafters on simulated jobsites based upon a variety of building plan details. Students will study print details for laying out walls, specific measurements, and roof to wall connections. Throughout the course, students will be challenged on their precision and how to be problem solvers as they develop and enhance their building skills.
