    Description
    A course in gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW) and plasma arc cutting (PAC) theory, equipment, and processes. Students produce, analyze, test welds and cut both ferrous and nonferrous materials such as mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel. Includes coordinated lab experience. Note: Students provide their own required safety gear and equipment (list of requirements given first class meeting). OSHA (Occupational Safety Health Act) approved safety glasses required by second class meeting.
