    Description
    A course in repair and qualification procedures, inspection, testing, layout, pattern cutting, and resistance welding. Students will produce and analyze welds (emphasis E7018) and cuts on mild, low alloy, and sheet steel to accepted industry standards. Coordinated lab experience is included, and no prior experience in welding is needed. Note: Students provide their own required safety gear and equipment (list of requirements given first class meeting). OSHA (Occupational Health Safety Act) approved safety glasses required by second class meeting.
