    Description
    A course designed to help new students transition successfully to a college environment. Students will explore their opportunities and responsibilities as a college student. They will learn about student supportive programs and services and important factors required to build the foundation to a successful college experience. Specific topics include how to utilize student technology portals, available academic programs, degrees and transfer pathways, course registration, and how to effectively read course syllabi and communicate with instructors. Students will develop an educational goal and a student education plan outlining the academic requirements to reach their goal.
