    Description
    An exploration of woodworking joinery techniques utilizing both hand and power tools. Emphasis will be on safety and accuracy. Skills will be developed through the construction of sample joints and assigned projects. Topics include layout, tool setup, measurement, joinery selection and aesthetics. Joints will include mortise and tenon, dovetails, miters, housed joints, scarf joints, lapped joints, finger joints and other joinery typically found in casework and furniture.
