    An introduction to basic jewelry fabrication techniques with non-ferrous metalsmithing, including sawing, riveting, soldering, and stone setting. Concepts explored include historical and contemporary jewelry making practices within a global cultural perspective. Note: Field trips may be required. Students must provide own transportation. Students will need to wear closed toed shoes. Recommendations will be provided in class about appropriate attire for safety.
