    This course is designed to give students a general understanding of salmonid biology and the principles for culturing various salmonid species. The course will cover water quality criteria, nutritional requirements, feeding practices, reproduction, and common diseases. Students will learn about land-based and offshore production technologies associated with the production of high-quality fish for market. Laboratory experiences will focus on the management of local salmonid hatcheries and aquaculture facilities.
