    Description
    This course is a survey of literature written by and about LGBTQ+ people. The course explores representations of LGBTQ+ people in fiction, poetry, and drama, as well as the social, historical, and political contexts in which queer identity is and has been rooted. Literary and cultural criticism is introduced. Lecture Grading: Letter ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000E or college-level composition or equivalent.
