    Enables Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to refine their skills and develop to the level of a paramedic; concentrates on patient assessment and airway management techniques needed in dealing with sick and injured patients; integral component of the first semester of the Paramedic Academy Program. 54 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
