    Description
    The paramedic intern will show progression of learning and perform basic scope of practice under supervision of a physician, registered nurse or physicians assistant who will evaluate the intern for entry-level clinical competency. The paramedic clinical internship is a structured schedule of rotations in which a paramedic intern will participate in patient care at clinical facilities. The paramedic intern will demonstrate an understanding and competency of the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) and Riverside County paramedic protocols.
