    This course provides theory and hands-on experience in manual transmissions/transaxles including: theory of operation, service, diagnosis and repair. The course includes the following topics: clutches, axles, driveshafts, transfer cases, differentials, electrical controls, diagnosis, troubleshooting and partial disassembly and reassembly. A $20.00 test fee for the appropriate Automotive Service Excellent (ASE) Student Exam is required. A uniform is required for this course. Lecture Grading: Letter AUTO 010 or concurrent enrollment.
