    This is a Color Theory course with an emphasis on color as an element of design and its role in visual communication. Students develop images through progressive applications of color within compositional structures. Topics include major historical and contemporary color systems, applied color projects, and the relationship between color and the elements of design. Multiple types of water-based media, along with collage and mixed-media applications, are investigated. (C-ID ARTS 270) Lecture Grading: Letter ART 003A.
