Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIntroduces a functional approach to the assessment and treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities. Students will identify the relationships between these conditions and the resulting impairments in body structure and function, activity limitations, and participation in major life activities. The course will also continue to develop students' problem-solving skills, which are essential for making sound decisions about the indications, precautions, and contraindications of various therapeutic intervention options within the Physical Therapist's plan of care. Admission to Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
