Students will learn the basic techniques for using ultrasound, ice/heat, electrotherapy, laser light therapy, biofeedback, soft tissue mobilization, manual/mechanical traction, and hydrotherapy. Emphasis placed on patient safety and the importance of infection control. Universal precautions and infection control procedures are presented with each modality. Laboratory component of PTA-201.
