    Description
    higher math placement Examines the methods used in social and behavioral science to analyze and interpret data generated by social and behavioral science research. Topics covered include descriptive statistics; probability and sampling distributions; statistical inference; correlation and linear regression; analysis of variance, chi-square and t-tests; and application of technology for statistical analysis including the interpretation of the relevance of the statistical findings. Applications using data from a broad range of disciplines. UC credit limitation: ECON-291, PSYCH-104, SOCI-137, STAT-C1000, STAT-C1000E, and STAT-C1000H combined, maximum credit one course.
