- Algebra or higher math placement. Explores a calculus-based introduction to the study of mechanics of solids and liquids, elastic properties of matter, heat, and wave motion (similar to PHYSIC-110, but requiring Calculus). Relevant to students whose programs require a calculus-based physics course. UC credit limitation: PHYSICS 110-111, PHYSICS 210-211 and 220-221-222 combined, maximum credit one series.
