    Description
    Examines pharmacy practices in institutional settings, focusing on the critical roles of pharmacists and technicians and regulatory standards. Content covered includes medication safety, drug distribution systems, medication reconciliation, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) <797> and <800> for sterile preparation of intravenous products, and the management of hazardous materials. Admission to the Pharmacy Technology Program is required.
