    Description
    Explores the diverse institutional, cultural, historical and social context of the life circumstances and intersectional identities of Chicana/o/x Americans within the United States after the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848. Students will analyze the development of Chicana/o/x Studies, as well as the theories of racialization. Topics will also include political and labor participation, cultural aesthetics, intersectionality, and education. Continued on the next page.
