    higher math placement Examines statistical methods, including descriptive statistics, data analysis, probability, elements of probability distributions, sampling, estimation, confidence intervals, tests of hypothesis, linear regression and correlation, including applications to problems in business and economics. Teaches explaining statistical results in writing and using spreadsheet and computer- based statistical software. UC credit limitation: ECON- 291, PSYCH-104, SOCI-137, STAT-C1000, STAT- C1000E, and STAT-C1000H combined, maximum credit one course.
