    of Intermediate Algebra or higher math placement Introduces the principles of cellular form and function including: bioenergetics and metabolism, molecular structure and evolution, gene regulation, cellular anatomy and physiology, and the principles of biotechnology. UC credit limitation: No credit for BIOSCI-107 if taken after BIOSCI-201, BIOSCI-202, BIOSCI-204, BIOSCI-205 or BIOSCI-221.
