- This course examines the psychological and sociological dynamics of family and relationships. Using historic and contemporary social science theories and research, we will examine the forces that shape intimate relationships related to marriage and family systems, including topics of gender, sex, love, communication, and conflict in dating, marital, and familial interaction.
