The lectures cover topics related to infrastructure and software stack, programming models (e.g., MapReduce and Pregel), underlying distributed storage layers (e.g., HDFS and HBase), as well as enabling technologies such as virtualization. Students will also be exposed to various Cloud frameworks and libraries (e.g., Mahout, Pig, and Hive).
