- This course is designed to meet the State requirement to qualify as a certified Peer Support Specialist for Medi-Cal. Topics include knowledge of mental health and substance disorders, treatment and recovery approaches, peer professional and support skills, law and ethics, cultural and diversity issues. This course is the first part of a two-part comprehensive training.
