This course builds on concepts presented in NE 185 Medical-Surgical I and focuses on the Nursing Management of moderately complex medical surgical patients in the acute care, rehabilitative care, and community settings. Nursing concepts related to neurological and hematological alterations, cancer, genomics, infectious diseases, immune deficiency, and the senses are explored.
