    Description
(Prerequisites: Math 104 and Math 105, or Math 109, or completion of Precalculus, or placement by the current assessment methods.) Introduction to differential and integral calculus of functions of one real variable. Continuous functions, limit of a function at a point, the derivative; differentiation formulas and rules for one-variable functions, implicit differentiation; mean value theorem and its application to optimization and curve sketching, linear approximation and differential notation; applications of the Riemann integral to finding areas, volumes of solids of revolutions, work, centroids, and total force on a plane submerged in a fluid.
