Key themes include Africa’s geographical and social evolution, Nile Valley states, Africa’s influences on Western Civilization, West African Empires, Moorish civilization, Swahili City States, the Later Iron Age, Central African Empires, Indian Ocean Trade, Europe’s expansion to Africa, Slavery, and African presence in the Caribbean and South America.
