    (No prerequisite. Support course for ENGL C1000, formerly ENGL 150.) This one-unit support course provides in-class support to help students succeed in the linked ENGL C1000 course. The course offers intensive practice in critical reading skills, research skills, and academic essay development. Students may work individually, in small groups, with the instructor, and with tutors on essays and readings assigned in ENGL C1000.
