    (Prerequisite: completion of Intermediate algebra or the equivalent) An introduction to computer tools and techniques useful for data analysis, problem solving, and communication in science and engineering coursework and professional activities. Students learn to use spreadsheet software to perform routine data analysis, including use of mathematical equations, statistical analysis, graphing, curve fitting, and a variety of numerical problem-solving techniques.
