    (Prerequisite: audition required.) In collaboration with the Performing Arts department, students prepare and perform dance numbers for various chosen musicals. Emphasis is placed on the utilization of a synthesis of dance techniques incorporating ballet, modern and jazz; on learning and memorizing choreography; on developing an aesthetic sense of how dance interfaces with other elements of a musical production; and on taking direction from the choreographer, stage and musical directors.
