General concepts of law to include real and personal property; negligence and personal injury; contracts, wills, probate, and domestic relations; corporate law, insurance, criminal law and equity; procedural law including trial procedures; subpoenas, depositions, appellate procedures and the structure of the judicial system; and California codes applicable to the practice of court reporting.
