    (No prerequisite. Advisory: CIS 170 or 110.) This course introduces the design of server-based networks, including virtual environments. By researching and developing a case study of a typical network, students explore and implement basic concepts of networks. Topics include LAN, WAN, MAN and wireless network hardware, network operating systems, virtualization and operating system imaging, cloud computing, and network applications. (CSU)
