    Description
    (Prerequisite: CHEM 132. This prerequisite must have been completed within the past 5 years.) The first semester of the one-year intensive organic chemistry sequence for students majoring in chemistry, environmental science, biochemistry, chemical engineering, cell and molecular biology, and related fields; and for students satisfying premedical, predental, and other health science prerequisites. The study of fundamental topics, including structure, function, stereochemistry, nomenclature, reactions, mechanisms and multistep synthesis of organic compounds.
